Throughout my life, I have been blessed with an incredible support system. My family has always been there for me, and I am incredibly lucky to be able to have them by my side!
My sister has always been one of my best supporters. We hold eachother accountable, and I couldnt ask for someone better to go through life with me.
Being the first generation means ensuring that I don't forget the sacrifices my family made to obtain these opportunities.
My faith has always been a big part of my life and growth as a person. If it weren't for church, I would have never known about God and his love for everyone. He's shown me that his love transcends all limits and gives me an example of what to strive to be like in my actions and words. I do my best to uphold my faith and the words in the Bible everyday, and live to be the kind of person He has willed me to be.
Last summer, I completed a medical internship in Guatemala, where I assisted patients and observed collaborative care in an underserved healthcare setting. This experience solidified my passion for anesthesiology and reinforced my commitment to service-driven, team-based medicine.
Softball plays a central role in my daily life and personal growth. It has instilled discipline, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. Serving as a varsity team captain for four years taught me how to lead with accountability, motivate others, and manage diverse personalities while maintaining focus and momentum toward a shared goal.
